DRR-103/2T FAQs

 Frequently Asked Questions - DAB - DRR-103 and DRR-2T

Q1 - What type of antenna should I use to connect my DRR-103 or DRR-2T DAB tuner?
For indoor installation and where the signal reception is know to be good, the use of a Monopole (rod antenna) or ribbon dipole, mounted in a vertical orientation can be used. However, for best reception results, a proper vertically mounted Yagi or omni-directional Dipole outdoor antenna is highly recommended. In some cases your existing outdoor TV antenna can be used but the signal quality will vary from location to location.

Q2 - Why is the displayed time sometimes incorrect?
This is a rare occurance and is due to transmission encoding errors.

Q3 - Can I save the Live Pause program?
The Live Pause feature only allows for deferred playback.  The contents cannot be permanently stored.

Q4 - Why does the Live Pause function sometimes not continue for the time specified – 4 hours?
This is due to a change in the transmission characteristics by the service provider.

Q5 - What if a new digital radio service is added.
The DAB tuner collects the new service automatically.
